Our Mission

The Fund for Global Health is a social profit organization: we are a philanthropic agency seeking improvement in social indicators rather than a monetary profit.  We take a business-like approach, working to achieve the greatest possible impact per dollar invested.  In short, our driving mission is to provide the maximum possible health benefit to vulnurable communities.

Get involved

By working with developing nations to address preventable disease, the U.S. has saved millions of lives and lifted vulnerable people around the world out of poverty. U.S. investments in global health have been instrumental in tackling the most deadly  diseases and reducing preventable deaths. However, there is still more work to be done. We believe we can build on this momentum and accelerate progress by increasing funding for programs with the greatest potential to reduce death and disease. The impacts of these investments are far reaching and have a high return – they improve quality of life for the world’s poorest, increase stability abroad, and bolster our own national and health security at home.
